Privacy policy

This is an English translation provided for convenience. The Ukrainian version is the legally binding text; if the two differ, the Ukrainian version prevails.

1. Who we are

The controller of the personal data described in this Policy is the non-governmental organisation “Association for the Prevention of Traumatic Childbirth” (ГО «АПТП», EDRPOU code 45392715; “the Association”, “we”).

This Policy covers the website aptc.org.ua (“the Site”). We process personal data in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection”.

2. In short

The Site uses no advertising or tracking cookies and shows no advertising.
We do not sell your data or pass it to third parties for marketing.
We receive your data only when you provide it yourself: when you write to us or make a donation.

3. What data we receive

Browsing the Site. No registration is needed to read the Site. The Site is hosted on the Cloudflare platform, which automatically processes technical request data (IP address, browser type, time of request) to protect against attacks and outages. If we enable visitor statistics, they work without cookies and show us only aggregated figures, with no data about individual people.

Settings in your browser. If you choose the light or dark theme, that choice is stored only in your browser and is not sent to us.

Emails. When you email us, we receive your address, your name (if you give it) and the content of your message.

Donations. For a bank transfer, the bank passes us the payer’s name, the amount, the date and the payment reference. If you pay by card through a payment service, your card data is processed by that service; we do not receive your card number.

Booking a specialist. Appointments with specialists in the registry are made through their own channels (email, Telegram, online booking services). That data goes directly to the specialist, not to the Association.

Videos. A YouTube video on the Site loads only after you press play, from the youtube-nocookie.com domain. From that moment YouTube’s privacy rules apply.

Links to other sites. The Site contains links to social networks and other resources. Their privacy rules are set by their owners.

4. Why we process data

to reply to your messages;
to record donations and report on them, as the law and our Statute require;
to protect the Site from abuse and keep it running.

The legal grounds for processing are your consent, the performance of a contract (in particular the public offer for donations) and obligations set by law.

We do not pass personal data to third parties, except:

the bank and the payment service — to process payments;
providers of technical services (hosting, email) — to the extent needed for their work;
public authorities — only in the cases and in the manner provided by law.

6. How long we keep data

Correspondence — for as long as needed to answer your message, and no longer than three years. Donation records — for as long as accounting and reporting law requires.

7. Your rights

Under Article 8 of the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” you have the right, among others:

to know what data of yours we process, for what purpose and who has access to it;
to have your data corrected or deleted;
to withdraw your consent to processing;
to complain to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights or to a court.

To exercise these rights, write to [email protected]. We will reply within 30 calendar days.

8. Security

We limit access to personal data to the team members who need it for their work, and we use services that encrypt connections.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. The current version is always published on this page with its date.
