Research into Women’s Experience of Birth

Initiating and conducting research into the psychological experience of pregnancy, birth and motherhood.
Key topics: factors that lead to trauma, protective factors, the impact of communication, experiences of boundary violations, the role of support, access to psychological help and the particular features of perinatal experience in wartime.
The findings are intended to be used to improve educational programmes, prepare recommendations and provide a basis for advocacy initiatives.
Research will be carried out in line with ethical requirements, with voluntary consent and with the protection of personal data.
