Support for women and families
Status
An area of support; the organisational model needs further development.

An area of psychological support for women who have been through difficult, traumatic or subjectively dangerous births.

Support may include individual consultations, psychoeducation, stabilisation practices, and work with the consequences of personal boundary violations and with feelings of helplessness, fear, shame, guilt and lost trust.

Support is organised around the woman’s readiness, her individual needs and her right to set her own pace in working through her experience.

Where needed, referral to qualified specialists for specialised psychotherapeutic or medical care is provided for.
